When Claude Cartier Décoration first visited the historic Haussmann apartment, it was love at first sight. The studio and client are Asgard Group, which is specialized in the decoration and renovation of high-end offices and apartments. He gave the studio a specific task: to honour and modernise the scene of the apartment transformed by AET Architecture, and to draw an outline to accommodate special furniture designs, pieces and ceramics.
The project is described by Claude Cartier Decoration as close to their heart. This time, they used almost no color on the walls, just one or two strong touches to create a strong contrast and highlight this ceiling with incredible lines.
Blue is used for the dining and living area, terracotta for the bedroom, and the entrance is green, the studio's favourite colour that echoes the spirit of stained glass. All the furniture has been carefully selected by Claude Cartier Decoration.
To take full advantage of the ceiling design, Christophe Delcourt created an incredible dual-function divider bookcase for his client. It is like a huge screen, on one side of it is the sitting room's huge functional sofa seat, on the other side is extraordinary ceramic collection.
