Fendi's largest flagship store boasts an area of 1,000 square meters; the historic Palazzo Fendi built in the 17th century was initially an aristocratic family residence.
The interior creates an intimate relationship between the Roman origins of Fendi and its modernity. The entrance opens to a large atrium, the heart of the building, a red marble staircase connects the two floors. Inspired by Vignola's Italian Renaissance architecture and modernized by utilizing unexpected materials like the silver leaves on the ceiling mirrors.
At the 1st floor , the RTW collection is shown in white lacquer and champagne tones metal mesh. The Furs are display in a black and silver leaves lacquer “ecrin” made in Japan. The two floors are linked by a monumental staircase made of Red Lepanto stone and Travertine. The elevator in the center is cover with silver leaves film.
At the second floor, revisiting the code of Fendi’s previous flagships, the ready to wear collection is displayed in tints of gold and white, while the Furs will be introduced in a silver and black room.
