The first Moynat store outside France opened in March 2014 on Mount Street in London. Besides offering a wide range of men's and women's leather goods on two floors, custom-made services are provided. The dome-shaped ceiling and vaulted windows represent the brand's distinctive trunk line; the impressive ceiling pattern references Art Deco.
With each of Moynat's new stores Curiosity explore the different facets of the brand’s personality, though always focusing on the ultimate refinement expressed with a minimum of means: continuity, genuinity, singularity.
The domed ceiling and the arched windows of the store echo the signature curves on Moynat trunks and handbags. The pattern of the ceiling is inspired by the Art Deco period, the golden age of Moynat, when the artist Henri Rapin was the creative director of the House.
The unique lighting creates a sense of refinement with a limited almost minimalist palette of materials: leather, suede, wood and strokes of metals, all inspired by the products themselves.
