A campsite adventure project in a well-preserved forest in Copenhagen, Denmark, designed by local architecture firm Effekt. The project aims to give visitors the opportunity to experience the public walkway in a new and interesting way that nature Architects has planned to minimize the disturbance and destruction to the natural environment. 

The focus of the project is to involve the public in forest conservation. "Camp Adventure is a unique experience destination," the team said. "The 900m long boardwalk linking the 45m high watchtower creates a unique opportunity to walk among the trees and experience the amazing nature of the well-preserved forest from another Angle." 

"The treetop trail is divided into high and low sections to guide visitors through the youngest part of the forest and then to the oldest part." "The tower and boardwalk are seamlessly connected by a continuous ramp, allowing all people access to the forest -- regardless of their physical conditions," the team said.

The most special part of the trail is at the tower and observation deck, which are up to 45 meters high. "The geometry of the tower is intended to enhance the visitor's experience, avoiding the typical cylindrical shape in favour of a curved outline, with a slender waist, enlarged base and top," the architects outlined. "This not only increases the stability of the tower, but also increases the viewing platform area at the top of the tower, while allowing better access to the forest canopy." "The expedition camp aims to protect the protected forest while also allowing the public to experience its beauty. A unique way to explore nature, Effekt encourages visitors to pause and admire its grandeur amid the hustle and bustle of contemporary life.
