House of Grey has created a sensory space for their north London studio where their clients and partners can see, feel and experience how the studio lives according to design principles on a daily basis. They believe that simplicity, calm and warmth can inspire, inspire and nourish a workspace, so they put it into practice in their new studio and showroom.
The House Of Grey Office has four Spaces, offices, showrooms and two photography studios, which are distributed on the ground floor Of the converted warehouse. Grey wanted to achieve something beyond a pleasant aesthetic. For Grey, when you just make a space look beautiful, it is just because you like it, but there is no real way to affect people's emotions behind it, which feels meaningless.
In the design of this office space, the design studio wanted to incorporate their own design philosophy and also really consider how design affects the health and well-being of the team. So they wanted a calm environment, combining natural materials, limiting pollutants and creating a positive and efficient workspace. Therefore, House of Grey adheres to the principle of injecting a set of healthy design into the multi-functional space, avoiding harmful toxins in color, light, materials and smell to design the space.
Inside, hidden double doors reveal a simple, light-filled workspace with bespoke furniture. Flanked by the office and showroom are two multi-purpose Spaces, called the Archway Depot, which can be used for photo shoots and events, and will be used for the team's weekly yoga classes. The larger studio is about 300 square meters, including a full kitchen, and the smaller studio is about 70 square meters.
