Nampa House Restaurant is located in a traditional and unique modern Restaurant in South Korea, designed by local Korean interior design studio Listen Communication. Nampa House is a restaurant that has been serving homemade food from an aristocratic family for more than 200 years. The designers drew inspiration from the natural surroundings and everyday objects around Nampa's old house.
Naju, where Nampa House is located, is known for its traditional crafts, including weaving, carpentry, dyeing and weaving. These local traditional features are also applied to the design, such as translucent curtains similar to woven linen. The curtain separates the hall from the room, providing privacy for the room while psychologically communicating with the hall area.
