A miniature house in The Spanish island of Mallorca, completed by local architectural design studio Mar Plus Ask. Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and the surrounding mountains, the house is surrounded by a thousand-year-old olive tree on a man-made terraced field made of dry stone, where only the wind chimes of sheep blowing grass can be heard, and the earth's wild and man-made nature can seamlessly blend together.
The house blends in with its surroundings as seamlessly and sensitively as possible into this magical environment, first splitting the required footprint in two, while also re-using the old stone structure for the purple house, which has been integrated into the rock. The complementary colors of olive trees provide a visual effect that becomes vivid, more specific and crisp when looking at the landscape. The water for the shower comes from a natural spring at the back of the house.
