Who said Art Deco was a thing of the past? Masquespacio, the design firm that always surprises us with its avant-garde proposals, has unleashed its imagination in its latest project: the Amiko Gelato ice cream parlor in Barcelona.
Located on a street adjacent to Paseo de García, this ice cream parlor is not just a place to enjoy a delicious ice cream, but a true sensory experience that will transport you to a parallel universe, where vibrant colors, surreal shapes, and human warmth merge in an explosion of creativity.
Inspired by the Art Deco of Palm Beach County in Miami, but taking it into the future, Masquespacio has created a space where every corner is a work of art. Sinuous curves reminiscent of the era's iconic buildings combine with straight, modern lines, creating a visual contrast that reflects the evolution of design.
The vibrant colors characteristic of Art Deco has been reinterpreted with a soft pastel palette that contrasts with darker earthy tones like green, providing a sense of freshness and lightness.
