Corzo is a minimalist home in Madrid, Spain, designed by OOAA Architecture studio. The smooth and soft lines divide different Spaces inside the house, and the reasonable layout improves the comfort and aesthetic experience of the overall space, which is more in line with the living and working style of the current residents.
The minimalist design style and the use of neutral colors are characteristic of the studio's design, which promotes the functional needs of the occupants while creating a comfortable atmosphere for the space. Glazing is extensively used in the project, allowing the landscape to become part of the interior while bringing in natural light, contrasting with the wooden material inside, not only bringing layers to the space, but also adding a natural atmosphere.
The stairs inside the house do not use conventional handrail stairs, because of the different materials and tones become a sculpture like existence. The Spaces hidden in the depths of the house are dark, but thus create a different atmosphere from other Spaces, providing a space for residents to relax and meditate.
