Studio IMA and Studio Anniversary teamed up during Mexico City's Art Week to redefine the design principle of contrasts in an attractive apartment setting. The exhibition, which runs through fall 2020, deftly demonstrates the power of aesthetics and intuition, placing the unique Mexican and Japanese cultures in dialogue.
In organizing the exhibition, IMA Studio's Bettina Kiehnle collaborated with Alex Lesage and Emmanuelle Roque to decorate the gallery's rooms ina unique way, presenting selected objects alongside existing works from local and international artists, creating a somewhat mystical atmosphere, Obscuring the origin reveals an interesting homogenous entity.
