Whitney focuses on hand-made ceramic shapes. In the process of exploring the stretching and deformation capabilities of this material, her series of works "female" became lifelike. She uses the curling method and strives to balance her curved forms to create sculptures that contain the characteristics of the female body.
Inspired by female modeling, Whitney's works have abstract curves and natural textures, neutral and minimal tones, emphasizing the natural colors and textures of clay, and unique matte texture finishes.
Stoneware has a matte texture. In Whitney's works, black, white, red, beige, dark brown, light black and other colors are advocated. Each piece is unique and can be used as a functional flower arrangement or sculpture decoration.
