Takatoshi Kuronuma
Sometimes I'm in when naming a finished product One's eyes are red,I don't know why,but there was a moment,I can feel that they are alone.
Takatoshi Kuronuma is a famous Japanese wood carving artist born in 1985 in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. After graduating from university, Takatoshi worked for an ordinary construction company until 2010, when he suddenly quit his job and began to devote himself to wood carving, which he still does to this day.
Takatoshi Kuronuma's work is like the other person himself, silent, without excessive embellishment, but without losing his presence. It took him only one year to successfully hold solo exhibitions, and since then he has also held exhibitions of itinerant wood carvings in major cities in Japan. He mainly depicts animals and humans in his serene, almost poetic carvings, which he unveils in his solo exhibitions.
Takatoshi Kuronuma presents female figures in different forms in the form of wood carving, and he is accustomed to pursuing the most simple temperament of his works in wood carving. Bouquets of flowers, slightly locked brows, or a silent demeanor, through the twists and turns of the wood grain, show the femininity and purity of the female form.
