Jeremy Anderson
The world is full of challenges, full of so many worries. I think people can really relate to objects and art that they can relate to through curiosity and get away from it all for a while. -Jeremy Anderson
Jeremy Anderson is a New York-based ceramic artist and co-founder of the furniture and lighting design studio Apparatus. Although his former occupation forbade him to spend time on art, he found time to make pottery in his off hours. After founding Apparatus with his partner in 2012. Gave him more opportunities to focus on his creation. Inspired by his Midwestern childhood, Anderson created a ceramic series called "Piccolos."
What makes this collection unique is the anthropomorphic look. Small round openings and hand-painted lines are the main features. His ability to understand the individuality and all the imperfections of each work is not only a unique work of art, but also a medium for Anderson to explore and express himself.
