Lifestyle aparthotel brand Locke expands into Zurich, Switzerland with the opening of its 15th hotel, Locke am Platz, in November 2023. Located in Enge—known for its expansive green spaces and botanical gardens—the property is spread across six floors, comprising 80 units, ranging from rooms, studios and suites alongside social spaces, including a restaurant and bar.

Drawing inspiration from the juxtaposition of Zurich's grandeur against the tranquility of its lake, the design narrative unfolds with a nod to the city's modernist legacy. From the architectural echoes of the building itself to the emblematic Le Corbusier Pavilion overlooking the lake, every detail in the building blends timeless elegance with a distinctly modern edge, creating an experience of indulgence and refinement. 

Apartment interiors are imagined as a series of boudoir rooms, with dramatic red bedspreads, plush materials and vibrant modernist patterns that nod to Riviera aesthetics and the nearby Lake Zurich. The apartments feature bespoke decorative curtains that line the walls and frame the bed in a grandiose style, creating a warm and sumptuous feel that balances the bold character of the rooms to ensure an oasis of calm.
