WGNB has completed Chapter One, a boutique store in Seoul, South Korea, selling clothing, furniture and other lifestyle products such as incense, handmade tea sets, dishes, etc.
When the design studio first came to the site, huge columns were awkwardly placed in a narrow, long space. In addition, the client requested space to accommodate the frequently changing display of products of various sizes.
The designers sought to solve problems rather than create their own spatial artwork, linking these problems and proposing the spatial concept of creating modular Spaces inside. Through custom designed sliding partitions, the designers created spatial modules that hide columns and provide different spatial layouts to accommodate changes in product displays.
