InForm Design is a family-owned design and architecture firm based in Melbourne, Australia, founded in 1994 by the McKimm family and now run by family members Cameron McKimm and Chris McKimm. They focus on architecture, new home construction and residential design, providing a full range of services including architecture, interior design, cost planning and construction.
Cameron McKimm graduated from the Holmesglen Institute of higher education in Melbourne with a degree in marketing in 2002 and from the department of building construction 10 years later. Cameron McKimm, the eldest son of the McKimm family, explains the concept of "family first" and how it can make a business better. Cameron McKimm and his two younger brothers, Chris and Johnny McKimm, and a younger sister, Lucinda McKimm, are an incredibly unique and powerful force in the family business.
For more than 20 years, InForm Design homes have populated the streets of Melbourne suburbs with considerate, understated architecture. InForm Design creates high-end homes inspired by mid-century architecture, and have made it accessible to all. As architects, they are inspired by so many things, and they take most of their inspiration from the way families actually live, as well as the Japanese and mid-century California aesthetic.
