In transforming a 25-year-old apartment into a state-of-the-art cosmetic and dental clinic, Goldie Kalda Design Studio vision was clear from the start: create a space that feels more like an art studio than a clinic, a place where visitors feel at ease, surrounded by an ambiance that is warm, inviting, and refreshingly different. The 800-square-foot clinic is a testament to the beauty of simplicity and elegance, integrating elements that soothe the mind and stir the soul.
Goldie Kalda Design Studio selected materials thoughtfully to cultivate a sense of tranquility and openness. Wooden-finished laminates and vitrified tiles, complemented by natural cane accents, provide a subtle, grounding warmth. Every piece of furniture was custom-designed to embrace the space’s airy feel, each element meticulously crafted to blend seamlessly into a light, breathable environment.
Subtle hints of Japanese inspiration can be seen throughout the design, lending a quiet sense of harmony and balance. To bring a touch of vibrancy and playfulness, Goldie Kalda Design Studio used colors sparingly but meaningfully, allowing them to accentuate certain areas without overwhelming the space. The reception desk and the doctor’s cabin, for instance, feature carefully chosen hues that enliven the area and add a soft, welcoming charm.
Art is interwoven as a defining element of the design, not as isolated pieces but as integral components that merge with the architectural flow. Each wall art piece has been strategically placed to complement the existing spatial geometry, creating a pleasing visual rhythm that unites different areas within the clinic.
The overall effect is a setting that is simple, sober, yet imbued with a playful spirit, where thoughtful design invites relaxation and an almost gallery-like quality makes every visit a calming experience. This clinic redefines the notion of clinical spaces—offering instead an artful sanctuary for cosmetic and dental wellness.
