The E Pool House in Istanbul, Turkey, designed by Habif Architects, aims to create a calm and comfortable living space using the height difference of the land. It is constructed with a steel structure and is interwoven with the existing volume.
The facade is covered with greenery to blend in with nature. It includes an open-plan living area, bathroom and storage room. The sitting area, dining area and fireplace area form an intimate and unified form with each other. The broad joinery facade faces the linear pool in front of it, allowing sunlight to enter the interior in the best possible way.
Where materials such as wood and concrete are used in a natural state, the designers of E Pool House wanted to achieve a peaceful, comfortable atmosphere that would keep residents away from the stresses of the city. The fireplace, with its three-dimensional, textured natural texture, is a unique element of the interior. It is a space to escape the four seasons in the city, with a qualified, airy, bright atmosphere.
