The owner of this apartment in Moscow did not even doubt who would design her new housing. She recently graduated from the Details school, where Nadezhda Ananyev teaches, however, she didn’t engage in design herself, but she entrusted the design of her home to her beloved teacher and her husband Georgy Ananyev.
The apartment is located in the Bulgakov Club House on Patriarch's Ponds, so in search of starting points, the designers and the customer sat down to reread The Master and Margarita. For Nadezhda, Mikhail Bulgakov is the shades of gray and the color of mimosa, which became the basis for the color scheme of the project.
Ananiev's projects are always bright and saturated, but it is art, vintage furniture and art objects that give the main depth and layering to the interior. Finding things for designers is an interesting and painstaking task. Nadezhda and Georgiy always try to collect unusual items from different periods, for example, in this interior leather armchairs by combined with light chairs of the forties and fifties of the XX century.
For many years, Nadezhda and Georgiy have been enthusiastically collecting vintage designer furniture, sculptures and art, finding new authors, and even opened their own NG Gallery. While working on the project, they met the artist Larisa Gerasimchuk. The designers recalled: When they arrived at her studio and saw her sensual hippie work, they sent photos to the customer, and she asked to buy two paintings for this apartment - they fit perfectly in here!
