Just as all screens are made by collecting each pixel, 'NPIXEL' is a group of individual members, including representatives, made into one pixel. Pixel members gather organically and collaborate, sometimes focusing on creating results through individual concentrations, U Lab have released NPIXEL's new office space under the concept of 'pixel'.
The recent office space emphasizes the importance of communication. But as important as communication between members is individual concentration. Through the NPIXEL project, it was intended to design a space where communication and concentration coexist freely. U Lab also need a space to pull people out of individual concentration spaces, and U Lab put these spaces in various places to create a space where people can naturally gather.
The focus is on designing the most futuristic space from the image of a high-tech game company, giving an overall refined mood using Travertine material, and a subtle light leak from a 6m long resin work collaborated with a resin writer, giving you an unusual space experience.
In addition, pixels of the concept of kinetic art applying the entire space concept pixel to the ceiling move, and moving lights running on the edge ceiling add to the futuristic atmosphere of space. In the cafe, the concept of pixels was applied as grid-type logic through the unstructured pendant lighting, partition, and ceiling above the cafe bar.
The office space is a space where both the concepts of mega-pixel and micro-pixel appear, and the private space of Npixel members is micro-pixel, and spaces such as conference rooms and mini-hubs where people gather while riding cores are viewed as mega-pixels.
When you get off the elevator and enter the office entrance, there is a grid-shaped sign wall. It is designed to freely change the wall text consisting of a pixel-type cube according to the characteristics of a game company that frequently moves teams. In addition, each S, M, L, and XL-sized conference room has a monitor wall with the same pixel logic.
