Located in a two-story corner building in Sydney's bustling Surry Hills neighborhood, the Four Pillars Laboratory, designed by local interior design Studio YSG, is a haven for gin lovers.
The building was originally built in 1939 as offices for a tea company, but was later designed as a variety of retail and hospitality Spaces. On the ground floor of the Four Pillars Laboratory is a store that sells gin-branded merchandise. The building now houses a lab, shop and gin brand Four Pillars Bar.
Juniper blue furniture rests against black walls in this cozy bar, lab and shop, designed by YSG Design Studio in Sydney for gin brand Four Pillar.
When the studio was invited to develop the interior design, it set out to create a "sturdy yet tactile sanctuary" where visitors could taste and learn more about gin in comfort in an earthy setting.
