This work by HW Studio is inspired by the feeling of being carefully listened to in a subtle whisper in an environment, as well as by seeking protection and shelter for the client. How to understand how one can feel protected? In any situation, what can you do when you feel vulnerable? The question comes with an image or memory of a terrified child covering himself with a light-colored sheet and looking out to make sure he can see what's going on around him.
Pulling the sheet down is a very basic act, suggesting a very basic part of the self; The sheets hide, protect, wrap and create a safe and intimate space underneath, which drives away any spirits, ghosts or demons that may be around the room. Like this project, it creates continuity between the beautiful surface and its surroundings, forming a new hill in a place surrounded by many people.
In this case, the building should be an accent poem, but it is not the poem itself. The pine, the oak, the sweet acacia, the firefly, the road, the fence, the neighbor's well, the earth, the orchard and the nightingale have given this poem. The poem focuses on four concrete walls that unexpectedly emerge from the landscape; Two of them support the land of the new hill raised by the sheets, and the other two support the passage that escorts guests into the house.
Concrete was chosen as the main material because of this dream of new rock melting, inevitably interacting with the forest, changing colors... The grey becomes green, black and yellow, gradually blending into the environment. The floor will accentuate the aroma of wood, when surrounded by pine trees, giving a balance of cold temperatures to the concrete; Finally, steel came into being because with the passage of time and the appearance of rain, it acquired a bark-like appearance.
