The Brazilian Guilherme Torres is a perfectionist, with a degree of poetic license, having part of it poured onto his skin. One of his tattoos “Work it harder, better, faster, make it over,” is so to speak a form of celebration of his work. The architect, who founded his company in 2001 bearing his name, loves to work surrounded by creative and enthusiastic youngsters. Guilherme Torres was born in Londrina, Brazil and completed his studies at UNIFIL in 1998. Its career started very early, when he was a teenager, he became a designer. He worked for an engineering company, where he gained knowledge and technical language in the field.

In 2010, Guilherme Torres moved with his studio to Sao Paulo. In 2017, he expanded his studio in New York and added other pillars. As an architect, Torres spent his time in studios in Sao Paulo and Londrina, and one of his hobbies is in a variety of activities from residential and commercial projects to furniture design.

This award-winning architect is known for his innovative residential and commercial construction projects, as well as interior and furniture design. His design system shows clear line management and free-floating volumes. He developed them into a holistic concept, combining tradition and modernism, testing the limits of materials, designing new structures and surfaces-even in his furniture, always avoiding monotony and ordinaryness.
