In addition to Juma's founders, Yinjispace has two guest speakers, a former Kengo Kuma and a former interpreter at Rezo Piano. To satisfy the public's curiosity about Juma's minimalist design, Yinjispace has prepared an excellent Q&A session.

Juma Architects' design is the result of many needs and applications, realizing all architectural emotions, an unrestricted, clear creative design. The symbiosis between function, aesthetics and cost is a thoughtful stratification. From experience, the creative use of the right materials, price, aesthetics and function is critical. This translates into exquisite detail that ensures a low-key luxury experience.

Yinji: What's your favorite material to use in your sport?

Juma: It's really about the color and texture of the material, not about any particular material, matching the design conditions or the owner's budget with the color and proportion of the material itself.

Yinji: Can you share with us your soft outfit mix for minimalist design?

Juma: There are two very important things in softening collocation. First, you have to understand the diversity of products. You have to go to a furniture factory or a showroom to learn more about different varieties. In short, a comprehensive understanding of the types of soft installation, and then into the details of the cognitive, color changes in the combination of materials.

Yinji: How do you cultivate architectural thinking in your daily life and work?

Juma: The most important thing is to experience the natural landscape as an inspiration for design, which comes from his long love of travel, he doesn't like to travel to cities full of buildings, but even more to the natural scenery of the coast. Through this way to get a lot of inspiration, instead of repeated copying and copying, I have been thinking about the embodiment of nature in design.

Yinji: How do you persuade party A when your design is in conflict with the owner's opinion?

Juma: they are not every project can persuade the owner, sometimes necessary to compromise and concession, or listen to the opinions of the owners, in fact allows the development of the project has a different, because they are design firm, they always want to is to design a further boost, such ambitions also let owner to have more understanding, understand their thinking, so finally although there is conflict with the owner, also can let the project to a perfect landing.

Yinji: How do you achieve the integration of different cultures and concepts in cross-border design?

Juma: Most of the projects that we do are actually private, some are residential, some are five or six story villas, and the most important thing is how the buildings fit into the landscape. For example, in the project of AH47, the plot is narrow, so the axis and orientation of the building are very important. Also, because of the characteristics of the plot, the interior of the space is slender and long, so we feel a comfortable streamlined rather than a chaotic and heavy feeling. Therefore, they are constantly trying and experimenting on how to combine the terrain and landform into the interior space.

Yinji: Your current project is residential. Are there any new directions and challenges for you in the next 10 years?

Juma: For me, it's more about work-life balance now, because of the epidemic, everybody needs to work from home, and my office is at home. Ten years later I would like to have more budget project, not only have a house, of course it is very good, but now it's more important is the balance of life and work, life is a balance after every work perfect, because you have a very good living standard, the project also reflect nature is very good in your life and living quality requirements.
