Studio Ezra is an interior design company led by Georgia Ezra, based in Melbourne, Australia. The company is passionate about all design areas and is focused on meeting the needs of its customers. Graduated from the University of New South Wales, Australia, as a treasure hunter and market expert, Georgia Ezra is looking for inspiration and resources from a variety of exotic cultures around the world. She is passionate about promoting the boundaries of modern design and creating spaces that are inspired and inspired every day. Georgia Ezra is committed to educating, inspiring and motivating others to create the most powerful, healthy and beautiful homes. Yinji：We like your expression of interior design, warm and comfortable, just like on vacation. Would you please explain your design concept for us?
Studio Ezra：For me a home is all about taking people off the streetscape and into their own escape. A space that feels like a resort rather than practical everyday living. The magic and the power that our homes have on improving our emotional wellbeing through the materials and clever spatial planning is something we are very passionate about.
With every client I work with I want to capture and understand what it is that magic them ‘feel good’ feel so good that each they live in their home they are emotionally fulfilled to their highest. The first thing I ask every client is to tell me or show me a hotel they have stayed in once before that they loved because of the way it made them feel. It’s that exact ‘feeling’ that I aim to recreate.

Yinji：What are the reasons that prompted you to establish Studio Ezra and form your own unique style?
Studio Ezra：When I started Studio Ezra I was 23 and very young. I was passionate about changing lives through my skillset, having my unique aesthetic is not intentional. I am true to myself and I design with my intuition. I try not to be influenced by fashionable trends. I turn to my travels overseas to inspire each project and concept.

Yinji：We noticed that in your design works, there are many applications of bricks/rattan/wood, etc., are they your favorite materials? How do you consider the interiors’ application of different materials.
Studio Ezra：I am very passionate about using natural materials and handmade products. As humans we need to be connected to the earth and the energy of these natural materials are fed into interiors and can be felt very strongly. I have always been drawn to these finishes over reconstituted options.

Yinji：What is your favorite design master? What influence did he or she have on your design?
Studio Ezra：I don’t really have a favourite one specific design inspiration. However I have always been hugely appreciative of Gaudi’s works in Barcelona and Ludwig Miess van der Rohe.

Yinji：What do you think the quality of a space is reflected? How can we design a quality design?
Studio Ezra：For me quality design is when the client is happy. Designing for the end user only and having a happy client that absolutely loves the outcome is what is at the forefront of every project. For me that’s great design. Some of the best architecture and design work that I’ve done is unable to be photographed.
