Boa Vista Hacienda is a residential hotel complex located on a 12 million square meter plot 100 km from Sao Paulo, Brazil, that is a place for meditation. In addition to the hotel, the complex includes private residences, spa areas, children's entertainment facilities, equestrian center, sports center, two 18-hole golf courses, swimming pool and 242 hectares of virgin forest surrounded by lakes of various sizes.

Carolina Maluhy was commissioned by JHSF to design the universal space. Her design concept was to use it as a place of unity and meditation for all faiths. Situated in the middle of a pristine forest, the building raises questions about how to integrate nature with new space.

Carolina designed a rectangular, box-like building as an answer, which contains two of her concepts: fusion and meditation, accomplished through simple lines. Glass and wood are used both internally and externally, and all of the buildings are designed by offices, creating Spaces for various religions to hold different kinds of ceremonies.
