Cap Karoso Resort, located on Sumba Island, Indonesia, aims to blend the modern with the traditional on this mysterious Indonesian island. Cap Karoso Hotel, designed by GFAB Architects. A brand new hotel with 47 rooms and 20 beachfront villas with social Spaces including the Big Wave Restaurant, Explorer Beach Club, Spa, Main Pool, Open Air Cinema and more.
The intention was to combine things that until now have been always considered as the opposites: serenity and liveliness, adventure and style. Discreet and integrated into the landscape, Cap Karoso lets the surrounding nature be the star.
With its flat roofs covered with organic gardens, it offers an unspoilt sea view to each guest. Pure, airy and soothing lines of the guest rooms and villas surround the center of the resort - the spa and gym complex, whose architecture pays homage to the astonishing style of sumbanese traditional villages and their famous dramatic cone-shaped roofs.
