This project is to transform an office space in a high-rise business building. The client hopes to have an area where he can relax in a tense working environment and enjoy the atmosphere from nature. The designer changed the serious office atmosphere and created a pure shared communication space under the premise of satisfying the customer's office functions, using natural and elegant materials to create a quiet and warm atmosphere. And move naturally into the room, making the new internal space open and full of vitality.

Designers use the effects of white, wood, plants and light and shadow to complete the definition of multiple areas, to meet the various functional and psychological needs to the greatest extent. In the design language, simple materials are used to create a rich and unique office space. A large area of wood conveys a sense of intimacy, forming a rich texture with the white-toned walls. At the same time, the coffee table and leisure seating area are used as transition spaces. The addition of appropriate plants makes the office environment easier and enhances the comfort of the space. Highlight corporate culture while respecting individuals and encouraging interaction and communication. Internally, the designer puts a secluded work garden into the original structure without changing the general structure, which intersects the interior and exterior with each other and creates a new form of boundaries.

The cultural spirit of any company is its driving force. In order to design an office place full of connotation, we need to gain insight from the office users-people. For this reason, the designer interviewed about 15 users of this office space. Most users mentioned that the traditional office environment is too depressive, serious and tense, and the state of working all day is tense. Employees are eager to belong to their office space is authentic, as a place more than 1/3 of the day, it should become more open, shared and exchanged. In addition to fixed office spaces, employees can also selectively work in different spaces of the company. They can communicate freely, give play to their creativity, and collide in thinking.

Traditional office space usually lacks public space, diverse spaces are scarce, and movement lines are tedious. The new office space is gradually becoming more diverse and interesting, and people's movements are interlaced and compounded, resulting in more collisions of behavior and inspiration. The way of working also changes from fixed point to walk, from concentration to cooperation, from unit to diversity.

In the traditional office, the office area is a form of space that is half inside and half outside, but nowadays, the roundabout and patchy form greatly enriches the fun and experience of the space. Work and life should be closely interdependent and complementary.
