Chapi Chapo, a Design studio based in Toronto, Canada, was founded in 2011 as a "meeting point" for international designers. The studio takes its name from a 1970s French cartoon. The love of design and travel brought these designers together, and the studio is now one of the most recognized by luxury brands in the world. Because the designers in the studio all had years of design experience, they made a leap of faith.

The project is the John Jacob Astor suite and Caroline Astor Suite, two penthouses located at the St. Regis Toronto, Canada. Designed by Chapi Chapo, the suites are now in grey tones and use different textures to create a soothing effect while quietly acknowledging the rugged Canadian landscape.
