Bioaroma is a branded fragrance and cosmetics manufacturer with a sustainable development strategy in the production, processing and standardization of its products, as well as in the marketing of its products. Bioaroma turned to (architecture firm) KAAF I Kitriniaris Associates to design the entire space.
The starting point of the building design is the triple bottom line concept that long-term and sustainable development requires a balance between economic development, environmental performance and social progress. In line with this philosophy, Bioaroma is a vertically integrated production unit that follows a viable development strategy in terms of production, processing and standardization of the product, as well as in terms of sales to the market, as plastic packaging materials are made from sugarcane from responsibly managed plantations, as well as recycled paper packaging. The final product entering the international market is 100% natural, without adding water, and some of the products are displayed in the BioRoma Museum of Perfumes and Natural Cosmetics and in the 240-square-meter Experience store.
The store's position at the center of the layout is twofold. First, it is in direct contact with the entrance so as not to interfere with scheduled museum visits or workshops; Secondly, it provides a direct view of the traffic surrounding the museum, thus forming a reference point for visitors, both in terms of the history of perfumes and cosmetics, as well as the display and promotion of the company's products.
More special features are integrated throughout the museum, such as dedicated narrative Spaces where visitors can hear the history of perfumes and cosmetics in digital holograms; Specially designed boudoir furnishings with washbasin and mirror for perfume sampling; A studio that makes personalized perfumes; Workshops producing perfumes and cosmetics; Cabins for presale production; And connecting the experience through a special studio to capture and share the experience on social media.
