A modern minimalist home in Montreal, Canada, designed by local interior design studio Michael Godmer. Design partners Michael Godmer and Catherine Lavallee have created a series of meditative beige Spaces in a partial renovation of this Montreal home. 

The property was originally two separate apartments, but was previously converted into the current two-story building. Its new owner, a young professional who collects furniture and art, put the design team in charge of designing the slightly unusual interior space.

The three renovated areas have been completed in different shades of beige, which the design team said "evokes the soft winter light" that they saw on the first day of their visit to the Marina Park. 

In the bedroom, the walls are loosely painted with lime, leaving an eggshell-colored finish. A large, rattan paneled wardrobe is placed at the back of the room, while a white oak sideboard is placed under the window so that the owner can display personal trinkets or decorations.
