Monoha Cafe, a minimalist Cafe in Seoul, South Korea, was designed by local design Studio Unravel. Their original intention was to create a real dialogue between design and space.

When people face an empty space, they will feel unknown emotions and tension, only emptiness and silence. But the stories and sounds that the space brings are haunting images, listening to the sound of silence, invisible. A Aesthetics of Absence is an intangible, precious, beautiful aesthetic that leaves things the way they are and allows people to understand the relationships between things, Spaces, places, situations, etc.

Studio Unravel's role in dealing with the space, like Monoha's name, is to place them centrally within the space, to focus on their relationships, not just to express decorative techniques or meanings.

The large box placed in the space changes this relationship and becomes a poetic language, as a single object that provides fluidity by attaching wheels. The missing domain becomes another language and satisfies the existence of nothing.
