Qiaocun Twenty Eight Road

This project is located in the Tianmuli business district of Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. It is an old restaurant on the must-eat list. The overall space design was inspired by ant caves, since the hustle and busy numerous ants are just like crowds flowing in a bustling and busy city. Ants forge grains of sand and clay and glue them together to form ant burrows. The ravines are connected in all directions, like thousands of streets and lanes being linked. Inspired by this, we try to design a natural and simple dining environment.

The moving line unfolds around a circle, making the appearance and vision change as it enters the interior space. It's like entering an ant's cave, which is mysterious and hidden.

Microcement and dark logs are selected as the main finishing materials throughout the space. The shape is simple and rustic, creating a softer and quieter reception space.

The walls, roof, and floor use uniform materials to make the overall space soft with an arc as the transition. Through the windows, you can see the surrounding tall buildings. Standing in this place, but you can enjoy the quiet and simple environment.

The elements of the circle permeate the entire space, Having a quiet dining space is like a harbor where you can dock. We want the space not only to eat, but also to be quiet and warm. Even in the “iron walls”, you can still get enough warmth.
